At 27 years of age, Kip Lewis started his investment company that deals with Real Estate called the Lewis Investments with only $2,000.
The first acquisition was situated at the La Frontera RV/MH Community, Round Rock that was 35 acres.
Kip decided to make the company become a Private Utility Firm in its 28th year of ownership. There was an expansion of the firm to a 60-acre land that is currently used in its endeavors.
Later on, in the ’90s, Kip Lewis moved to create two new community developments in Georgetown and Plugerville. The project included a combination of 650 sites that were sold to MH Investment Trust. It’s one of the largest companies in the country.
After the Lewis Investment Company in 1992 in Texas, Kip Lewis made the company aim to identify properties that were managed poorly and got undervalued in the Commercial Real Estate.
The company has since grown to recently completing a $17 million refinance transaction made with Fortune 500, JLL’s lead professional firm that offers services.

JLL and Lewis Investment partnered in early 2020 to engage in the refinancing of multiple properties.
Due to the pandemic, subsequent market credits were seized and halted because some projects were put on hold.
