John Harrold" and "Insurance Office of America benefits of having millenials in workplaces

Around workplaces stereotyping are a common occurrence and an everyday thing. A whole generation has suffered stereotyping for quite sometimes mostly due to a generation misunderstanding as John Harrold writes. John Harrold looks into an age that has gotten labelled as lazy and at the same time full of entitlement. His finding is quite the opposite of the older generation’s belief as the millennials have proved to be quite essential and supportive in workplaces as Insurance office of America testifies. One of the workplaces where millennials are of great use is the Insurance office of America. This generation has led to significant changes in work culture as we know it today.

Based on the survey conducted by the Gallup millennials have proofed to align their sentiments with their job roles. The study conducted from a mix of close to 100 million American working-class, including millennials showed that millennials are emotionally and psychologically fit for their job against the misnomer excited about the group. The Insurance Office of America is one of the beneficiaries by having a workforce that is mostly millennial as they are entirely instrumental in advancing some of the following changes in their organization:

  1. As John Harrold states, millennials are the pioneers of a workplace culture shift where employees are shifting from one position to another depending on pay rise as a motivator.
  2. America’s insurance office benefitted immensely with the introduction of technology in running the organization’s business processes.
  3. Millennials do not enjoy overstaying in one place for so long, and they view approximately three years in an organization as quite a long time.

The Gallup survey showed that millennials are always on the lookout for new positions elsewhere. Lastly, contrarily to many beliefs that millennials get not focused on their roles, the research showed that millennials enjoy setting goals and meeting targets for the functions defined for them.
