One way that Kfir Gavrieli has begun to help the global community is through the Gavrieli Foundation which lends loans to women entrepreneurs. He also started Operation #SewTogether which empower his employees and customers to make masks for healthcare workers during the pandemic.
He believes that brands should be expected to stand for their communities though. He believes that Tieks and he is part of something bigger, so it is important to use the impact they have to work in the community. With Operation #SewTogether, for instance, over a million masks were donated to hospitals in the country.
The campaign started by donated masks just in the greater Los Angeles area, but now, there are masks donated around the entire country. The power of social media helped Kfir Gavrieli in the creation and the build of this campaign. It created a sense of a relationship as Gavrieli’s employees are able to truly listen to their customers and give rewards for sewing for the campaign. It is important, according to Gavrieli, to not only perform acts of good in order for a hidden agenda though. It is important to do it to help the world, which then gives a better image of your company.
