Bo Parfet began life with learning disabilities. He had dyslexia as well as a speech impediment. When Parfet was around the age of seven he remembers a teacher telling his parents that the odds were very low he would ever graduate high school. This moment stuck with Parfet and he knew if he wanted to be successful he would need to create a path of his own. In his adult years, Parfet came across Richard Wiese, who is an American Explorer. They were on a rafting trip together and when the team fell overboard, Wiese immediately saw Parfet’s leadership abilities. Later in life, Parfet was determined to climb all seven summits across the world. While climbing Parfet would see many deaths in the mountains. There are always major obstacles while making difficult climbs on mountains and Parfet sees each obstacle as a building block to a better and brighter future.
