When at the university, Kevin Plank joined the football team and noticed the need for better sportswear. Most players complained of sweaty t-shirts after their play. He made his first clients from his former teammates. His business premise was from his car and his grandmother’s basement in Georgetown, New York. He had challenges with getting first sales.
